Just when you think he can't get any cuter! My friends sweet little Logan turned 1 in May, and I got to take his pictures. What fun we had running around by the lake. Don't you just love his adorable curls!

Nicholas and Zach were finally ready to hold thier 3 week old cousin, Jayda. They couldn't get enough of her and had to take turns feeding her, and here I thought I would get her all to myself! Nicholas asked if we could keep her for a few days!

She arrived On the First day of spring, March 20 at 3:53 am

She weighed 7lbs 11 oz and was 19 inches long.

I am a bit of a regular at the Satrbucks in downtown Duluth. Every month there is a new photographer showcased in the store. I asked 6 months ago what I had to do, and it was simple, just sign up! So I took the next opening, which was March 1st. I have been preparing and deciding what photos best show my work, and tonight I was able to put it all together!

You can peek in the window and see MY work, I must admit it makes me a little giddy! I always look at others work and think, I could do that, and now I finally have! It is a small step, but a step in the right direction!

Now I wait and see. Will I get calls? Emails? who knows, I am just grateful for the opportunity!

Photo Shoot

I started my second photography class by Maggie Holmes last week. Our first assignment was to set up a photo shoot. So after a bit of bribing, I go my boys to cooperate with me. We were supposed to use props, and find a new location. Now keep in mind, it was only 32 degrees here yesterday, which is a very nice winter day, but not the best for taking outdoor pictures! BRRR! But here are my five favorites!
